Eiger glass is specially tested for impact protection. Conventional, cheaper soda-lime glass breaks at an impact pressure of 100-125N. Eiger glass has been proven to withstand an impact pressure of over 300N (twice as strong).
All Eiger glass features an oleophobic coating, which helps to reduce fingerprint accumulation and makes the glass feel pleasant to touch.
The product is compatible with most cases, ensuring good surface protection without adhesion issues.
To determine scratch resistance, Eiger glass is tested using the Mohs Mineral Hardness Scale, from 1-10.
This is a more accurate method of determining scratch resistance than the more commonly used 9H pencil test.
Eiger Mountain Glass Clear is made from 60% recycled cullet glass. This is waste glass produced during the manufacturing process.
All packaging is made from paper, cardboard and/or other recyclable or biodegradable components.
